Thanks for reporting this issue guys. We believe there might be a multi-processor threading issue that shows up on Mac machines more frequently. We should have a fix ready later this month (December).

Please try this workaround if you are experiencing this error on the Mac:

Open up a Terminal Window, then try the following commands:

cd /Applications
cd 'Fotobounce Family'
Fotobounce.app/Contents/Resources/engine/FBEngineC --detection_threads=1

You should get a response "Port nnnnn" where "nnnnn" is a numeric number.

If that works ok then your problem is related to threading. Close that window and open up a new window and run:
cd /Applications
cd 'Fotobounce Family'
Fotobounce.app/Contents/MacOS/Fotobounce --detection_threads=1

The full Fotobounce UI should load.

p.s. We are coming out with a fix.
