Multiple Filters at the Same Time

Postby riw777 » Sat Jun 23, 2012 2:23 pm

Y'all:

One thing I'm a little confused about: It seems like Fotobounce really only supports sorting things into albums and such, but there's no real way to search for keywords across these albums, or for images that fall within an intersection of these albums. For instance, if I makr an image as a birthday party, then as a picture taken in NY, then as a picture taken of John, this creates three separate albums. There's no way to look for pictures of John's birthday party in NYC.

Is this correct? You must build albums on a per event basis, like "John's Birthday Party in NYC?"

If you do a CTRL-F (or select Quick Find from the Edit menu) you will be able to enter a search string such as "birthday" and find all events, places, collections and keywords that contain the word birthday. Then you can scan that for John.

Or if you type in a "filter" string at the top of the Events, Places, Collections or Keywords and put in "John" or "Birthday" you will be able to narrow down the search.

But, for a future version of Fotobounce we are implementing a more specific search capability.

For that specific search criteria we do not have a solution. We have talked about adding another tab when viewing an Album (place, event or collection) that would show only the people in that Album.

Sorry about that. We will consider this type of query for future releases.
